Starting a Cryptocurrency Blog – What Should You Consider?

A cryptocurrency is a form of digital currency that relies on cryptography to ensure the safety of transactions. Cryptocurrency is a medium of exchange like normal currencies such as the US dollar but decentralized and distributed. It means it does not rely on banks or governments to issue new units or track transactions.

One can conceptualize cryptocurrencies as the electronic equivalent of cash or gold. They are scarce and hard to produce unlike fiat money, which has value only concerning other currencies.

You can get hold of these instruments with the traditional modes of payment. You can buy crypto with a credit card or convert cryptocurrency (fiat) to US dollars effortlessly. When you purchase cryptocurrency, you need to check the approved payment option by the exchange. This approach helps facilitate a seamless experience during the trading session when you buy cryptocurrency.

Are there any other ways to earn from cryptos without investing?

Determine Where Your Interests Lie

If you are interested in blogging, you are probably already looking at a blog with some frequency. It is not hard to see why: blogs are super-straightforward and easy to make. You need a computer, some free software (WordPress is the best solution), a domain name, and your content!

However, if you want to start a blog about cryptocurrency, the landscape can be more complex. Blogs are usually run on a simple website using WordPress‘ built-in features.

You will need to think about how much space you want your site or blog to take up in your Google or Bing search results. It means creating an attractive design for readers and advertisers alike. And if you plan on making money from your website or blog in any way (i.e., by showing ads), it means thinking about how to earn revenue beyond just affiliate links and search traffic from Google Adsense.

Set up All the Legal Necessities

When you start a website or blog, you need to consider legal and financial issues. As an easy way to learn about these issues, I will walk you through my own experience of starting this blog.

Starting a business is not required for running a website or blog, but there are some added steps that bloggers need to take. These extra steps will be most beneficial if you have a significant online presence and make it easier to handle the financial side of your blogging business.

I do not recommend registering your business as a corporation right off the bat. While corporations can be beneficial (as they separate yourself from your company), they require more ongoing maintenance and can lead to added costs at the end of the year when tax time comes around. So instead, let us get started with the basics: setting up your new business as an LLC – which stands for “Limited Liability Corporation” – in all 50 US states (plus Washington DC).

It will teach you how to start earning and making money in cryptocurrencies. It also points out how to avoid some common mistakes inexperienced traders often make.

How Can I Make Money With Cryptocurrencies?

There are three main ways to make money with cryptocurrencies:

  • Writing About Cryptocurrency on Blogs

Use all the essential blogging tools.

“I want to start a cryptocurrency blog! Where should I start?”

That’s the question we asked ourselves when starting our blog, and in this post, we will talk about some of our favorite tools to help you get started blogging.

Blogger: Blogger is Google’s free site-building tool for the public. It has a neat interface for posting content but offers limited features and options. Blogger is great if you want to build a personal or informational site quickly but is not very customizable.

WordPress: WordPress is also free but requires an account and offers more options than Blogger. The WordPress platform hosts millions of sites, including some of the largest blogs. If your idea of starting a crypto blog includes monetization opportunities, WordPress will likely be your best bet because it has those features built right in.

Medium: Medium is also free, but it only lets you have one post per month without paying for upgrades at all levels ($5/month). We found Medium useful as an additional platform to publish on because it has great SEO capabilities and can drive traffic back to our site (like this article!). But if you are looking for more flexibility with choices in visuals or building out different types of pages, we recommend looking elsewhere first.

Choose an Appropriate Theme

If you research blogs, you will notice hundreds of different themes and plugin options for WordPress users. There are even more if you branch out into other platforms like Squarespace, Wix, or Weebly. But how do you know where to start?

In this post, I will walk through some guidelines for choosing a theme that is easy to navigate, mobile responsive (responsive to different screen sizes), simple but elegant, typography-focused, and includes a blog page template. The idea is that these things will guide you towards a great design (and hopefully save you some time in the process). If nothing else, it should give you an idea of what is important when evaluating themes for your blog!

If you’ve made it this far, I’m almost certain you have a good idea to start your cryptocurrency blog. It is probably the best decision you will ever make! I have never seen someone regret starting a blog ever!

The only thing left is to find a company to outsource your content creation, articles, or videos. Once you are all done and publish your first cryptocurrency blog post, ensure that you share it on your Facebook page.
