The discovery of new bodies:
According to the National Park Service, human remains were found in Boulder City’s Swim Beach area. It was reported around 4:30 PM PST. Park rangers quickly reacted and found the body.
The Clark County Office of the Coroner will medically examine the body in order to determine the cause of the death. The body was found to be a viable candidate for toxicology because it was in a better state than the two other bodies that were discovered in the lake.
As the investigation continues, more information is expected.
Other Remains of Humans in Lake Mead:
The 1st of May 2022 was the date that the first body was found. Police expected foul play because the body was shot. The victim’s clothing and footwear were examined by police who concluded that they were in line with the fashion and lifestyle of the 1970s and mid-80s.
It is expected that the victim’s remains will be older than 40 years old. The victim’s body was discovered in a barrel. Police stated that if a victim is found dead in a barrel, it is likely that they will be murdered.
On 7th May 2022, the second found human remains Lake Mead in the Callville Bay region of the park was discovered. The body’s tissues were preserved by the cold water that was found at the bottom. Since the body appears to have been decomposed and there was no suspicion of foul play in the case, the police will not be investigating the two other remains.
On Monday, the third body was found. These cases have not been updated.
Its water level is currently at 174 feet below its normal level, and measures approximately 1,040 feet. Police expect to find more Found Human Remnants Lake Mead that have been dumped as the water levels fall. Lake Mead can be considered full when it reaches 2,000 feet.
Boats from World War II were also exposed by the drop in water levels. A further problem was that no human remains were identified. The investigations are being conducted with some limitations. There are no strong connections to any crime. The intact human remains are subject to forensic dentistry, fingerprinting and X-rays as well as forensic anthropology. If necessary, the police could order DNA testing.
